A well-scoped MVP for a SaaS or internal tool typically sits between $55,000 and $120,000. Enterprise platforms with complex integrations, security requirements, or high-traffic architecture are higher. We provide a fixed-price quote after the discovery phase - there are no sliding goalposts once we've agreed scope. The discovery sprint itself is fixed-price and gives you a complete cost estimate before committing to the build.

You own everything we produce. Source code, design files, infrastructure configuration, documentation - all transferred to you on completion. We use your Git organisation from day one, so you have full visibility throughout and full ownership from the first commit. We sign an IP assignment agreement at the start of every engagement.

Scope changes are managed through a formal change request process - we assess impact on timeline and cost, agree it in writing, and adjust the plan. We don't absorb scope changes silently and then surprise you with a bill, and we don't block progress over minor clarifications. The key is that our discovery phase is thorough enough that significant mid-project changes are rare.

We primarily build with React or Next.js on the frontend, Node.js with tRPC or Express on the backend, and PostgreSQL as the primary database. For hosting we recommend Vercel or AWS depending on scale and compliance requirements. That said, we're framework-agnostic - if your team has strong opinions, existing infrastructure, or regulatory constraints that point to a different stack, we work within those constraints rather than insisting on our preferences.

We can take full ownership of a project, or operate as senior engineering capacity alongside your team - taking specific tracks, implementing the architecture while your team builds features within it, or working in a staff augmentation model on a retainer. We write clear documentation and hold knowledge transfer sessions to ensure there's no capability dependency on us.

We offer a structured post-launch retainer that covers security patch management, dependency updates, performance monitoring, minor feature additions, and incident response. Alternatively, if your internal team is taking full ownership, we include 30 days of hypercare post-launch and a comprehensive handover package - runbook, architecture documentation, onboarding guide, and a recorded walkthrough of the codebase.

WCAG 2.1 AA compliance is a standard in our delivery process, not an add-on. We use axe-core throughout development, conduct keyboard navigation testing, review screen reader compatibility with NVDA and VoiceOver, and verify colour contrast ratios across all components. For public sector or financial services clients, we can produce a full accessibility conformance report (VPAT) on request.
